Who can attend the Deeper Love Discussion Group?
The Deeper Love Discussion Group is a program for black gay, bisexual and other black men that have sex with and/or desire men. We have other programs and events open to the rest of the community.

Is it a safe space for brothers that aren’t out? At Deeper Love we believe in meeting brothers where they are. Many of our members would consider themselves out, but we do not create a hostile environment for those who are not. Your decision to attend a Deeper Love event should be based on your level of comfort participating in a black gay men’s group.

Is Deeper Love a hook-up group? We encourage our members to develop affirming and sustaining platonic and professional relationships. We strongly discourage members from dating each other, though there is no “official” policy against it.

Is there a cost? No.

Is there an age requirement? We are a group for black gay men who are age 18 and up.

Why do you say “gay” so much, and not men who have sex with men, bisexual, or same gender loving? Deeper Love targets black gay men, though black men who identify otherwise are still welcome to attend.

Is Deeper Love only for single people? No. Couples are welcome.
